Geneva and Zurich, Switzerland

International business takes on a whole new dimension when you're standing inside a chocolate factory nestled in the Swiss Alps or perched in a glass-enclosed conference room on the top floor of Deutsche Bank's Prime Tower, overlooking downtown Zurich and its surrounding green hills. Led by marketing professor Janet di Lorenzo, 16 Gabelli students had these experiences, and more, as part of a week-long winter break study tour to Switzerland.

The group visited corporations and met executives in every place they went. They learned about historic brands at the renowned Swiss watchmaker Roger Dubuis and about cutting-edge online practices at Akamai Technologies. They visited the Geneva headquarters of the World Bank and the Red Cross, saw traditional Swiss cheese being made in the town of Interlochen, and toured the Swiss offices of the United Nations — all while enjoying fondue dinners, taking an excursion to the magnificent Lake Lucerne, and experiencing the unique cultural mix of French and German influences.

Below are some additional pictures taken by the Gabelli group while in Switzerland.
