Scholarships


The College of Business Administration has identified the following internal CBA scholarships and external business education scholarships. Each scholarship has specific eligibility criteria. Please carefully review the criteria before applying for each scholarship.

In addition to the scholarships listed here, students are advised to refer to the Office of Student Financial Services for other scholarship resources, including listings of other general Fordham restricted scholarships and links to scholarship search engines.

 

Fordham University Scholarships

 

The Ghiloni Family CBA Scholarship

The Ghiloni Family CBA Scholarship was established through the generosity of CBA alumnus Peter J. Ghiloni.  The scholarship supports a CBA student (Sophomore, Junior, Senior) who maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA.  The award is renewed annual provided the recipient continues to meet the academic requirement.

The Summers Family CBA Scholarship for Veterans ($2,000/year)

The generosity of Gregory Summers, CBA 1978, helped establish the Summers Family CBA Scholarship for Veterans.  The focus of the scholarship is to enable a student’s transition back to civilian life after serving his/her country.  The primary eligibility criteria is for a student who has at least 90 days of aggregate military service or has been honorably discharged with a military service-connected disability.  In the absence of a student/veteran, secondary preference will be given to the son or daughter of military personnel on active duty.  If no suitable applicants fit the previously listed criteria preference will be given to a student who is a resident of New Jersey.

External Business Education Scholarships

The following scholarships are offered by outside organizations for undergraduate students studying business. Interested students should apply directly to the organization funding the scholarship.

 

John T. Petters Foundation Study Abroad Scholarship

The John T. Petters Foundation honors the life of John Petters. John was a junior at Miami University (Ohio) when he passed away while traveling in Florence, Italy. Through this scholarship, the Foundation encourages and supports the study of business internationally.

Criteria:
Applicants must be accepted to or applying to a study abroad program sponsored by their school, exhibit financial need, study business and hold US citizen status.

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund

 The Hispanic Scholarship Fund has partnered with many corporations to provide scholarship opportunities to undergraduate students of Hispanic heritage. Please refer to the fund’s scholarship website for more details and application procedure.
