Undergraduate Major in New Media and Digital Design, Fordham College at Lincoln Center
Fordham’s undergraduate program in New Media and Digital Design links theory and practice to enable students to create, innovate, succeed and lead in digital careers, whether in business, entrepreneurial, or non-profit settings.
Combining the forces of the Departments of Communication and Media Studies, Visual Arts, English, Computer and Information Science, and the Gabelli School of Business, this interdisciplinary major aims to create leaders whose career success will be propelled equally by innovative capability and deep social, historical and ethical understanding of new media technologies. Students will emerge with a fluent understanding of how new media function, how they make meanings, and how to use them practically, and mindfully, in a wide variety of “real world” settings.
