Honors alumni share an important role in the Program’s intellectual community, and special efforts are made to maintain bonds with members after graduation. A number of events are planned throughout the year to invite Honors graduates back to campus and share their experiences with current members of the Program.

Alumni Christmas Party
Research into the Honors archives show that from the very beginning Honors alumni returned at Christmas to renew their ties to the Program and meet its current students. This tradition has been revived in recent years, and has proved to be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends and make new ones as well. The Alumni Christmas Party normally coincides with Fordham’s annual Festival of Lessons and Carols, a program of Christmas music and readings performed by the University choirs.
Alumni are encouraged to participate in the Honors Program’s continuing conversation of ideas. In this spirit, graduates are invited to the Honors Program’s Last Lecture, an event held during the spring semester of the school year.
The Honors Program hosts a special reception at Alpha House during Jubilee Weekend at Fordham University. The event celebrates the Honors graduates who have graduated in five- and ten-year intervals from Fordham.
In the fall of 2005, Honors members from past and present gathered to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Honors Program. An article from Fordham’s Alumni Magazine about the reunion is available in the Fordham Alumni Magazine, Nov 2005, Alumni Notes, pg 30.
