Departmental Tutoring Services
Note: For any subject area not listed below, please consult with the Associate Chair for Undergraduates of the department.
Biology student tutors are available for walk-in meetings in the Larkin Hall 1st Floor Student Lounge. Please click here to access the schedule: Fall 2014 Biology Tutoring Schedule.
Inquiries may be made to the Department of Chemistry Chair or Associate Chairs in JMH 642.
Graduate students in the department can provide tutorial assistance to undergraduates. Students can consult either their professor or the Chair of the Department of Classics in FMH 428.

The Writing Center is located in Dealy E-533 and can be reached by phone at 718-817-4032. Students can schedule appointments online at www.fordham.edu/writingcenter.
The Economics Tutoring Center is located in Dealy E-535. The Economics Tutoring Center hours for the spring 2012 semester are Monday and Tuesday 10:00am - 5:00pm; Wednesday and Thursday 10:00am - 7:00pm. Students may also email firstname.lastname@example.org for an appointment.
The Math Help Room is located in JMH 410. Math Room hours for the spring 2013 semester are Monday through Friday 9:30am - 4:30pm. No appointment is necessary.
Free tutoring, practice, and conversation in all of the languages taught in the department is available. The Language Lab in Keating B25 also assists students with the Modern Languages.
The Philosophers' Society (Fordham's undergraduate philosophy club) offers a help room for undergraduate students seeking help understanding material from their core classes. Students are free to seek help from upperclass philosophy majors, to ask questions about material covered in their classes, and to seek help in writing successful papers.
The help room will be operating on Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00 pm at the outset, with additional times expected in the future.
The small meeting room in Collins Hall (Room 126) will be used as the default location; if the room is being used for departmental meetings or other events, the help room will be moved to the lobby in the basement.
