|Fordham University’s Rose Hill campus is located in the Bronx, one of New York’s most diverse, multifaceted boroughs. The campus is spread across 85 green, leafy acres, adjacent to the Bronx Zoo and the New York Botanical Garden. Rose Hill is the quintessential college campus, with distinguished Gothic buildings and plenty of room to roam. Just off campus is Arthur Avenue, the heart of the city’s original Little Italy, and the Fordham Road station of the Metro-North commuter rail service, a comfortable 20-minute ride to Grand Central Terminal.
Along with Fordham School of Professional and Continuing Studies (PCS), Rose Hill is home to Fordham College at Rose Hill, the Gabelli School of Business, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and the Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education.
Academic offerings at PCS include a broad spectrum of majors and minors, including communications, organizational leadership, psychology and many others. PCS also offers a bachelor of arts degree in social work. Students who complete this program are eligible to apply for advanced standing in Fordham’s Graduate School of Social Service.
Small class sizes and the opportunity to interact with professors and fellow students are central components of academic life at Fordham. The format and schedule of classes are developed with the needs of the adult learner in mind. Academic advising and career counseling are available on an ongoing basis in order to ensure students achieve their academic and professional goals.
