Caps and Gowns
Bachelor's Candidates
(CBA, FCRH, FCLC and FCLS) Caps and gowns for undergraduates are provided by the University and distributed during the Graduate Salutes. In order to ensure a cap and gown will be available, graduates should pre–order their gowns at www.herffjones.com/college/graduation by midnight Thursday, March 12.
Caps and gowns that are pre–ordered will be available only at the Graduate Salute campus location selected for your school.
At the Graduate Salutes, graduates will have an opportunity to purchase Senior Week tickets, personalized announcements, rings and diploma frames, and may meet representatives from the Deans' offices, the Office of Alumni Relations and the Office of Career Services. In order to participate in the Graduate Salute, student accounts must be paid in full or appropriate arrangements made. Graduates who do not place an order by Thursday, March 12, 2009 may still attend the Graduate Salute. Extra caps and gowns will be available at that time, and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
Graduates may also pick up caps and gowns in May, however, an $8 late fee (cash only) will be charged. For late distribution, students may come to the Commuter Lounge in McGinley Center Basement at Rose Hill on Thursday, May 14, 4 to 7p.m., Friday May 15, 12 to 3 p.m. and Saturday, May 16, 8 to 10 a.m. |

Graduates of the School of Law must place their orders for their rental attire before midnight on Thursday, March 12 at www.herffjones.com/college/graduation.
Graduates of the other graduate and professional schools (GBA, GED, GSAS, GRE and GSS) must place their orders for their rental attire before midnight on Friday, April 3 at www.herffjones.com/college/graduation.
Late Orders for Graduate Students and Faculty/Administrators
Graduate students and faculty/administrators who do not order academic attire by the April 3 deadline date (March 12 deadline date for the Law School) may come to the distributions below. Some extra apparel will be available on a first come, first served basis at the distribution sites. Extras will be distributed, and an $8 late fee (cash only) will be charged.

Returning Caps and Gowns
All rented academic attire must be returned immediately after each school's diploma ceremony.
(Bachelor's gowns are keeper gowns and do not need to be returned.)
GSAS, GED and GRRE graduates return their gowns to the Commuter Lounge in McGinley Center basement at Rose Hill after their diploma ceremonies on Saturday, May 16.
GBA graduates return their gowns to Beacon Theatre following their diploma ceremony on Tuesday, May 19.
LAW graduates return their gowns at the Madison Square Garden Theatre following their diploma ceremony on Sunday, May 17.
GSS graduates return their gowns to the White Box Studio in the Lowenstein Building at Lincoln Center following their diploma ceremony on Thursday, May 21.
