Re: Online Students’ Evaluation of Educational Quality (SEEQ) Surveys
For many years we have worked to provide an accurate and efficient means of communication between faculty and students for your planning purposes.
Last year, Fordham University adopted an online course evaluation system that allows students to complete the course evaluation surveys online via a laptop, tablet, or smart phone and provides faculty with both greater information from the surveys and faster access to it. In the Spring of 2013 the new online system was launched. Guidelines were put into place in order to maintain the digital response rate that currently exceeds the previous paper forms. For the Spring 2014, semester we have updated the guidelines in response to faculty feedback.
The Online Survey period opens 14 days prior to the last day of class and surveys are to be completed in class during those two weeks. For instance, this semester the online survey will open for students on April 22nd who have classes ending on May 5th.
I have attached the Guidelines and Step by Step instructions to this email.
Please let me know of any suggestions or procedures that will help ensure that this sharing of information is efficient and effective. Any questions can be directed to Sue Perciasepe in my office(firstname.lastname@example.org).
