Through the generous support of the Henry Luce Foundation, the Clare Boothe Luce Program enables Fordham to provide grants to undergraduate and graduate women pursuing careers in science and engineering. 

Undergraduate Opportunities
Clare Boothe Luce Scholarships provide students in their junior and senior years with tuition, fees, room and board (beyond what is already covered by other awards).  If requested, recipients may also receive funds for professional development (such as a stipend for a summer research project).

Clare Boothe Luce Research Scholarships provide funds for professional development in the form of a stipend and a budget for research related expenses.

All highly qualified female applicants must:
 - be a US citizen;
 - NOT intend to pursue further education in the medical sciences;
 - have declared a major in Chemistry, Computer & Information
   Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Natural Sciences (the latter must
   have a concentration in one of the aforementioned areas).

Graduate Opportunities
Clare Boothe Luce Fellowships are available to highly qualified female students of US citizenship who are beginning their doctoral studies in Biological Sciences.  Fellowships provide a stipend, tuition, and fees for two years, and if requested may also provide funds for professional development (such as a stipend for a summer research project, which can be used for domestic academic travel, research expenses, childcare, etc.). 

A call for applications is sent each spring in late February/early March to the Fordham e-mail address of every eligible undergraduate and graduate student.
