The goal of this program is to support and foster research and publication by faculty members. The two principal categories of support are RESEARCH PUBLICATION EXPENSES and RESEARCH PROPOSAL PREPARATION EXPENSES as they are associated with a specific research project (i.e., not general expenses).

Until then, for further information on eligible expenses and how to request reimbursement, please consult the FREP & FRG Disbursement Guidelines, but note that as of July 1, 2009:

- software IS a permitted FREP expenditure; and 
- hardware may be considered.*
