Fordham University The Jesuit University of New York

The mission of the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is to help faculty and other University personnel locate and secure funding for projects that will:
• generate knowledge in the various disciplines and professions represented in the University;
• enrich the educational experience of students; and,
• enhance the reputations of the University, schools, departments and personnel involved in those projects.

We work closely with the University Development Office to identify potential funding sources. We are available to work with applicants to develop their ideas for projects and to help translate those ideas into proposals. That includes assistance with budgets and compliance with university and sponsor regulations. We will also review and comment on the drafts of works-in-progress and help to facilitate the processing of applications within the university as well as with sponsors.

The Office of Sponsored Programs is responsible for reviewing and approving applications for grants and contracts in which University personnel participate that involve:
• grants from government agencies;
• contracts or subcontracts; and,
• research involving human subjects (see also, the Institutional Review Board).

Our office is located at 540 East 191 Street, just outside the Bathgate entrance to the Rose Hill campus. Consultation at other sites is available and e-mail and phone consults are especially encouraged.

We look forward to working with you!
