IAS-NIDA Fellowship encouraging HIV and Drug Use Research:
The International AIDS Society (IAS) and NIDA have announced the fifth round of the IAS-NIDA Fellowship. The fellowship is awarded as a stipend of $75,000 in two categories: to a junior scientist for an 18 month post-doctoral training, or to a well-establishing HIV research for an eight month long professional development training. Basic Social and Behavioral Research on Culture, Health and Wellbeing:
This Funding Opportunity Announcement, issued on behalf of the NIH Basic Behavioral and Social Sciences Opportunity Network (OppNet), will provide grants for infrastructure support to develop, strengthen, and evaluate transdisciplinary approaches and methods for basic behavioral and/or social research on the relationships among cultural practices/beliefs, health, and wellbeing. International Research Ethics Education and Curriculum Development Award:
The goal of this initiative is to strengthen research ethics capacity in low and middle income countries through increasing the number of scientists and health professionals from these countries with in-depth knowledge of ethical principles, processes and policies, and critical skills to develop research ethics education.
