Michael Baur

Michael Baur is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Adjunct Professor of Law at Fordham University.  He completed his doctoral degree in philosophy at the University of Toronto, and his law degree at Harvard Law School.  His main research areas include Philosophy of Law, Continental Philosophy, and German Idealism.  He has published widely on a variety of topics and figures, including: natural law legal theory, ethics, hermeneutics, epistemology, metaphysics, Aquinas, Kant, Hegel, Heidegger, and Gadamer.
