Diego Oyharbide

Diego received a Master's in Economics and a Master's in International Political Economy and Development (IPED) with high honors in Economics from Fordham University.  He works as a consultant for Ernst & Young in New York where he has participated in various projects including the creation of new strategies for the pharmaceutical industry to "Improve Access to Medicines" at the "Bottom of the Pyramid".  Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Diego worked as a research assistant for an income inequality and povery reduction project sponsored by the UNDP and interned for the United Nations Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Santiago, Chile. Having lived and worked in various Latin American countries, Diego developed an invaluable understanding of the complexities existing in today's emerging markets.  In addition to English, Diego is a native Spanish speaker and speaks intermediate German and French. Diego is a founding board member of CIPS.  He strongly believes in Fordham University's "commitment to research and education that assist in the alleviation of poverty, the promotion of justice, the protection of human rights and respect for the environment."
