MCGANNON CENTER HOSTS FIRST VISITING RESEARCH FELLOW
04.15.06. The McGannon Center is currently hosting its first Visiting Research Fellow. Minna Aslama, a doctoral candidate at in the Department of Communication at the University of Helsinki, has joined the McGannon Center until October of 2006. Minna comes to the McGannon Center thanks to a fellowship from Sanoma WSOY, Finland’s largest media group. Minna's area of expertise is international media policy. She will be working with the McGannon Center on a variety of projects related to international media policy issues, including a multi-national analysis of the role of research in diversity policy.
