About the Library

The Library at the Louis Calder Center currently maintains subscriptions to many ecological and biological journals (70 active periodical titles, see list below) that are available for staff and students at the LCC, as well as visiting scholars, with permission.

 

The library also has a collection of books (currently about 1250 volumes) on various topics in botany, entomology, environmental chemistry, evolutionary biology, geography, herpetology, ichthyology, invertebrate zoology, limnology, mammalogy, microbiology, molecular ecology, ornithology, phycology, physiological ecology, statistics, systematics, and wetland ecology.
