Welcome to the Office of the Provost. We are responsible for the growth and enrichment of the academic life of Fordham University. In consultation with the faculty and under the auspices of the President and the Board of Trustees, we promote the academic mission of the University's ten colleges and schools and administer all special academic offices, including the University Library System, Fordham University Press, and WFUV. In particular, we handle faculty personnel matters, academic program registration with state government, academic budgets, systems and planning, as well as promoting the research activities of the faculty. We are also proud to sponsor the University's Consortium on Social Justice. This Consortium's mission is to strengthen the University's contributions to social justice by facilitating communications and collaborations among the many people and programs engaged in social justice work.
Additional information on our responsibilities can be found via the links to the left. Please contact us if we can be of assistance in any way.
