International Student Orientation

International Student Orientation Fall 2014


General Information:
Once your busy academic and social lives begin, you might not find time to seek out certain, vital information. This is why it's very important you attend this orientation program.  We want to make sure all Fordham international students stay in status, so we provide written and verbal information.  We will answer all of your questions and identify important resources regarding: 

          Immigration- Maintaining your status!
          Social Security Cards 
          Driver's Licenses
          Banking, Cell Phones, Credit Cards
          Health Insurance
          Cross-Cultural Adjustment
          Student Activities

When will the OIS Orientation take place for your program?
Undergraduate students will participate in Global Transition, a 5-day program which includes many activities, information sessions, and opportunities to get to know fellow incoming international students
Move-in is on Tuesday, August 26.  For anyone living off-campus, Global Transition starts on Wednesday, August 27, but you are also invited to join the dinner on Tuesday the 26th.
Global Transition ends on Saturday, August 30.
