Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs
The Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs at Fordham University will be offering the Advanced Certificate in International Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance (IDHA) program from November 4 - 30, 2012. The course will be offered in partnership with the University of Pretoria.
The IDHA is an intensive four-week training program designed for humanitarian aid professionals working in the field. This multidisciplinary course consists of more than 200 hours of lectures, presentations, debates, and group work. The course covers a full range of disciplines involved in humanitarian programs including disaster management, logistics, health, psychology, social sciences, anthropology, communication, agriculture, environment, education, conflict resolution, international law, civil/military relations, security, media, politics, and economics.
