Office of Institutional Research

Guided by a supporting initiative in the University's strategic plan, Toward 2016, the Office of Institutional Research (OIR) provides accurate, timely, and consistent information about the University to the Fordham community and outside organizations, supports programs to assess student learning and the efficiency and effectiveness of University programs, and supplies information and analyses to assist planning.

Primary Services

  • The OIR conducts and disseminates institutional research

Institutional Research also supplies the University with the essential scientific resources needed to support other crucial administrative functions. We provide the University with technical and analytical assistance for a variety of assessment activities, including assessment of student learning, accreditation reviews, evaluations of institutional effectiveness, and the conducting of University-wide surveys.

Requesting Information from OIR

The OIR website has many data resources available online for the Fordham community, including information on enrollment, degrees conferred, retention and graduation, and faculty and staff. However, if the information you seek is not readily available on the OIR website, we are happy to serve Fordham's diverse data needs by creating customized reports. In your request, please include as much information as possible, including the semester or academic year for which you need data. Please contact us well in advance of your deadline and let us know how best we can serve you.
