Guided by a supporting initiative in the University’s strategic plan, Toward 2016, the Office of Institutional Research (OIR) provides accurate, timely, and consistent information about the University to the Fordham community and outside organizations, supports programs to assess student learning and the efficiency and effectiveness of University programs, and supplies information and analyses to assist planning.

The OIR conducts and disseminates institutional research.

Institutional Research also supplies the University with the essential scientific resources needed to support other crucial administrative functions. We provide the University with technical and analytical assistance for a variety of assessment activities, including assessment of student learning, accreditation reviews, evaluations of institutional effectiveness, and the conducting of University-wide surveys. |
