International Student Orientation Spring 2013

MANDATORY ATTENDANCE

Once your busy academic and social lives begin, you might not find time to seek out certain, vital information. This is why it's very important you attend this orientation program. We want to make sure all Fordham international students stay in status, so we provide written and verbal information. We will answer all of your questions and identify important resources regarding:

          Immigration- Maintaining your status!
          Social Security Cards
          Driver's Licenses
          Banking, Cell Phones, Credit Cards
          Housing
          Travel
          Employment
          Health Insurance
          Safety
          Cross-Cultural Adjustment
          Student Activities

This is a university-wide orientation program. (*But GBA & LLM have separate programs). Family are welcome to attend.

On-Campus Housing: Rose Hill and Lincoln Center students MUST move-in on Tuesday, August 21st. All Undergraduate students must complete the Orientation Registration on your my.fordham account. Graduate students are able to move in on Thursday, August 23rd. RH Grad students must contact must contact earlyarrival@fordham.edu, and LC Grad students must contact Michelle at mcostantino@fordham.edu to be added to the list.

Global Peer Assistants Program: All incoming new international students are able to sign up for the Global Peer Assistants Program. To be paired with a current student, please complete the application.
