Application Overview
If you have not already been accepted into a Fordham program, please follow these steps before contacting our office. The Office for International Services is happy to provide assistance to admitted international students regarding visa and immigration issues. Please be aware that the admissions department and/or your academic department are important players in your efforts to come to Fordham University.
Basic Steps:
1. Apply to a Fordham program.
2. Receive an admittance letter from the program.
3. Complete the Affidavit of Support and send financial documentation to the OIS.
Once these steps are complete, the OIS can issue an I-20 or DS-2019. Students chose to have these mailed Express Mail (at your expense) or USPS.
Any questions related to immigration must be directed towards the OIS. Any questions related to academics must be directed toward your academic department. Any questions about the admissions process should be directed toward Admissions.
