Global Transition Program

Global Transition is the name of the 5 day program designed to welcome international students to Fordham and help you adjust to your first days and weeks here. During Global Transition, you will have the opportunity to meet and get to know other new international students from all over the world, attend important and helpful information sessions about Fordham, explore Fordham University and New York, and participate in fun activities!  Participation in Global Transition is mandatory for all international students, and you must register for this program by __.  To register, please click here.

For a basic schedule of Global Transition week, please click here.  Note that we may be making changes to the schedule throughout the Summer, so please check back regularly for the most up-to-date plans.

Global Transition will be led by a group of current Fordham students, both international and domestic, called Global Transition Assistants.  These students will greet you when you arrive on Tuesday, will lead you to all events, and will help you answer any questions you might have about Fordham!  They are very excited to meet you!

FELT (Fordham English Language Test) testing will take place on the morning of Wednesday, August 21.  This test is REQUIRED for all international students, even if you have already taken the TOEFL exam.  For more information about the FELT test, please click here.
Some students may be eligible to waive this test.  Click here to see if you qualify for a waiver, and for instructions on how to obtain this waiver.
