International & Study Abroad Programs!

BEFORE YOU GO....
Necessary Forms: Check if you have submitted all of the following to the ISAP Office:
-Program Acceptance Letter
-Immunization Record
-Insurance Card
-Passport
-Course Approval Form
-Study Abroad Financial Worksheet

Billing: Make sure there are no financial holds on your account - this might prevent you from registering for study abroad courses.

Predeparture Meeting: Please don't forget that attendance is mandatory.

Travel Documents: Consult with your programs regarding obtaining necessary travel visas/authorizations, as needed.

Fordham Housing: Make sure to withdraw from Fordham housing for the semester you are abroad. Make sure to follow the rules and regulations provided by the Residential Life Office.

Culture shock and adjustment:  Keep in mind the differences in academic expectations.  Do everything you can to successfully immerse yourself in the local culture.  Enjoy yourself, but be safe!

Registration: Keep an eye out for information regarding registering for your next semester at Fordham. Our office will send you a reminder.

Fordham Housing: Don't forget to follow the rules and regulations of the Residential Life office regarding securing housing for when you return. Contact the Residential Life office for information about participating in the housing lottery.

Transcript: Don't forget to request that an official transcript be sent to the ISAP Office.

Program Evaluation: Don't forget to fill this form out and send it to the ISAP Office. (To download the form, click  HERE )

Share your experience: Send your photos/stories for the ISAP website! You can become a study abroad mentor. 

Continue your experience: Contact the ISAP Office for resources that will help you to keep your study abroad experience alive!
