Dame Diana Rigg is the Patron and Liev Schreiber is Honorary Chair.
In order to gain the broadest and most practical outlook on British theatre from the great traditions to the more experimental, LDA Faculty are drawn from people working in the profession and teaching at British drama schools.
During a typical semester you are likely to encounter nearly twenty instructors, all offering their commitment and practical experience for your benefit.
Some of these include:
- Penelope Beaumont, a leading actor from Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre;
- Miriam Karlin, one of Britain’s most distinguished actresses;
- Delena Kidd, founder of the London Shakespeare Group, who has performed Shakespeare worldwide;
- Kathryn Pogson, Obie winning actress and long-time instructor at LDA;
- Hugh Ross and Malcolm Sinclair, two of Britain’s most prominent classical actors;
- Adrienne Thomas who also instructs in Voice and Speech at RADA
- Peter Watson, distinguished opera and stage director
- Michael Winter who has been Director of five major regional theatres in the UK.
