The Awards at a Glance

We have created this section of the website to familiarize you with the major external scholarships and fellowships, who should apply for them and when to apply, and to acquaint you with some of the many services we offer to students.

Below, you will find a chart of the major external awards with accompanying information about requirements--academic status, main field of focus, and internal deadlines--for each one.  After viewing this chart, please use the links to visit the official websites for summary information about each scholarship.  We hope this information will prove useful to you in your search.  Once again, we list the major awards here, but strongly encourage students to search for others on their own.  As always, careful research and preparation during the application process will increase the ultimate chances for success.  Finally, while we have provided a wealth of practical information, we urge you to call our office to make an appointment to talk with us about your future plans.

The Scholarships and Fellowships page link also contains summaries of awards arranged according to academic year with imbedded links to the official websites.
