Graduate Certificate in Biomedical Informatics

With the development of molecular biology, the sequencing of the human genome and the improvement of imaging technology in recent decades, the field of biomedicine now relies heavily on computing and information science and technology. Biomedical Informatics has become an essential part of the knowledge and skill sets necessary in the professions of:

This 15 credit Advanced Certificate requires courses in Biostatistics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics and Medical Informatics as well as a practicum Project and Internship course.
