Financial Aid for the graduate program in Communication and Media Studies is available through the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. These awards—graduate assistantships—are granted annually on a highly competitive basis.
Assistantships: Assignments of 15 to 18 hours of work per week in return for full tuition remission and a stipend for living expenses. Assignments include positions with the Public Communications program, the Donald McGannon Communications Research Center and radio station WFUV-FM. Applicants should describe their administrative, professional and/or research experience for these positions. Strong GRE scores, outstanding undergraduate records and practical experience are the primary criteria for these awards; finalists are invited for in-person interviews as part of the financial award process. Please see http://www.fordham.edu/academics/colleges__graduate_s/graduate__profession/arts__sciences/financial_aid/index.asp for more information on Graduate Assistantships.
