TUTORS


The Economics Tutoring Department is staffed by graduate students who have demonstrated exceptional academic ability.  Below is some info on each of the economic department tutors:

Jay Endaya graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines) with a degree in BS Management Engineering and 
a minor in Economics.  He is currently working toward his MA in International Political Economy and Development (IPED), focusing on International Development Studies and International Development Economics.  Jay is in his second year in IPED and this is his first semester in the tutoring center.

Michael Gallagher has a B. S. in Finance and an M.S. in Math both from Fairfield University in Connecticut. He spent a number of years trading capital markets in the U.S. and Europe. He is a first year Ph.D. student in the Economics program and new to the tutoring center.

Josephine Kibe
is the former Executives Programs Director at Strathmore Business School, Nairobi, Kenya. Besides being a holder of an MBA-Finance from United States International University, Josephine is a CPA and is currently a level II CFA candidate. Her Bachelors degree is in Education specializing in Economics and Business Studies. Ms. Kibe’s research interests are Micro Finance and Micro Insurance, Inflation and Unemployment.

Wei Hu graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University with a BA in Business Administration and received an MA in Statistics at Columbia University.  She is currently a fourth year Ph.D. student in the Economics Department, and this is her third year in the tutoring center.

Yunfei Song (Daniel) graduated from Shanghai International Studies 
University (China) with a BA in Finance and minor in English, and he 
has studied in Sprott Business School (Canada) as an exchange student. 
He is currently a first-year PhD student in the Economics Department.
