Johanna Francis is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at Fordham University.  She received her Ph.D. in economics from the Department of Economics at Johns Hopkins University.  Her research interests are in the fields of macroeconomics and open economy macroeconomics.  Her work focuses on the microfoundations of macroeconomics, in particular, on the theory of consumption and saving behavior, entrepreneurship, and the distribution of wealth.
