TUTORS
The Economics Tutoring Department is staffed by graduate students who have demonstrated exceptional academic ability. Below is some info on each of the economic department tutors:
Economics Tutoring Center Staff: SPRING 2008


Adjoa Numatsi graduated from University of Lome, Togo (West Africa) in 1998 with a BA in Economics and an MA at University of Cocody, Ivory Coast (West Africa) in 2000. After teaching in a Business College in Lome and working as a teaching assistant at University of Lome for 3 years, she is now in her fifth year in the Economics Ph.D. program at Fordham. This is her second year in the tutoring center.
Rossen Trendafilov has a bachelor’s degree of Business Administration from College of Mount Saint Vincent. He worked as an accountant after graduation. He is currently a second year Ph.D. student in the Economics Department.

Bei Liu graduated from BeijingLanguageUniversity (China) with a B.A. in Japanese Language and Literature. She got her first M.A. in International Political Economy and Development at Fordham in 2005 and second M.A in Economics in 2006. She is currently a third-year Ph.D. student in the Economics Department and this is her second year in the tutoring center.

Thethach Chuaprapaisilp (or Dom) graduated from University of Warwick, England in 2002 with an MSc in Economics and received an MA in Economics at Georgetown University, Washington D.C. in 2004. He is in his third year in the Ph.D. program in Economics, and this is his first year at the tutoring center.

Mariana Barrientos Ossio graduated from the University of Oklahoma with BBA in Economics in 2006. Before attending Fordham, she worked in technology transfer and commercialization at the Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth in Norman, OK. This is her first year in the PhD program and in the tutoring center.

Brandon Vick graduated with B.A. in Business Administration and Information Systems from Texas Tech University in 1999. After three years working as a Supply Chain Systems Engineers with Compaq Computers, he joined the Peace Corps and worked on local infrastructure and entrepreneurship initiatives in Suriname. He is a first year PhD student in Economics and this is his first year in the tutoring center.

Wei Hu (or Maggie) graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University with a BA in Business Administration and received an MA in Statistics at Columbia University. She is currently a second eyar PhD student in the Economics Department and this is her first year in the tutoring center.
