Dennis Tyler is currently working on a book titled, Disability of Color: Figuring the Black Body in American Law, Literature, and Culture, which examines how disablement as experience and as discourse has shaped racial subjecthood for African Americans, especially in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. |
