John Ziegler has previously published on Sean O'Casey and on Shakespeare in heavy metal. He has articles on struggles over space in onstage masques and on the identity politics of early modern Irish clothing forthcoming in MARDIE and JEMCS respectively, and he is currently working on a book about the development of the onstage masque and its marketing of socioeconomic voyeurism, as well as an article examining ethics and identity in the video games Prototype and Prototype 2.
