major concentrations & career tracks
In preparation for employment and graduate school, the following Major Concentrations and Career Tracks can be pursed through major electives, internships, the capstone research or internship thesis course, a minor or second major (up to two courses can be double counted toward a minor or second major), and advice from the Alumni Career Advisory Board members listed below who are engaged in successful environmental careers and are available to answer your questions (students should email the appropriate member). The Environmental Studies program expresses its gratitude to these alumni for generously serving on the board. Students should also join the Environmental Consortium of Hudson Valley Colleges and Universities Student Network to receive emails about the Annual Career and Graduate Program Fair, internships and employment opportunities in the region. Please also consult the Employment and Graduate School page links in the left margin.
