summer school courses & internships
During summer, students have the opportunity of studying at Fordham University, elsewhere in the United States, or abroad.
Fordham Summer School offers courses in, for example, environmental physics, ecology, environmental ethics, and an internship course.
Fordham Study Abroad lists domestic and foreign summer environmental programs.
Other summer environmental programs throughout the United States, Canada and Central America can be found by an online search, for example, the School of Field of Studies or the Wild Rockies Field Institute.
Summer and academic year internships assisting Fordham biology and ecology graduate students on their thesis research at Rose Hill or the Calder Center are available by contacting the Vice President of the Biology Graduate Students Association, Sarah Whorley, swhorley@fordham.edu. For green roofs and campus urban agriculture at Rose Hill, contact Jason Aloisio, jason.aloisio@gmail.com
