The websites of the following organizations in New York City list current internship and employment opportunities which past and current students have taken advantage of.

Majors can complete an internship (4-6 hrs per week) for credit in the required senior thesis course, ENVP 4000-Research Seminar, using the internship as a case study in the research thesis. This course is offered every spring semester only. With the permission of the program director, an internship done in the preceding semester or summer may be used in the course.

The Fordham Community Service Office assists students in arranging internships in urban ecology and environmental justice at the Crotona Park Nature Center, Bainbridge Urban Garden, Bissel Community Gardens, and Sustainable South Bronx. See internship descriptions. Students may also consult the Global Outreach Program, which organizes environmental projects such as "Go Mohawk."
