Research Interests:

I am most interested in topics pertaining to the early middle ages.  I have done some research on Gregory of Tours, the Lombards of southern Italy, the Charlemagne legend in Spain, and Muslim communities in Christian kingdoms.  My dissertation will focus on a series of early medieval manuscripts, primarily from southern Italy.
