The Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs (IIHA) has a number of internship positions for undergraduate, graduate and professional candidates. The internships provide an entry point into the field of international humanitarian affairs, as well as a valuable understanding of the complex issues and dilemmas that humanitarians are constantly forced to evaluate.
The IIHA offers full time and part time internships during the fall, spring and summer semesters. Interns work on a variety of topics and projects, all relating to international humanitarian affairs. Prospective applicants are encouraged to contact the Internship Coordinator to inquire about available internship positions.
How to Apply
All applicants must be current students, either at the graduate or undergraduate level, of an accredited institute of higher learning.
All applicants should e-mail a cover letter (not more than two pages) explaining why they wish to work in the field of international humanitarian affairs, and how an internship with the IIHA would further their career goals. Applicants should also attach a copy of their resumé as well as a writing sample.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please contact the department for any available openings.
