Internship Programs

About Internship Programs

Throughout the year, IIHA offers several unpaid internships. The internships are agreed upon by the intern and the Institute to be on a full or part time basis. The interns will work on a variety of topics within the IIHA. The internships provide an entry point into the Humanitarian Affairs field, as well as a valuable understanding of the main issues and dilemmas that Humanitarian Affairs is constantly forced to evaluate. In addition, the work environment is flexible and supportive with the possibility for growth.

Student Eligibility

All applicants must be current students, either at the graduate or undergraduate level, of an accredited institute of higher learning.

All applicants should send a letter (not more than two pages) explaining why they wish to work in Humanitarian Affairs, and how an internship with IIHA will further their career goals of working in the HA field. Applicants should also attach a copy of their resume, including the most up-to-date contact information.
