The event was held at the O'Hare Room in the Walsh Family Library and the recipient of the Matteo Ricci Award for Academic Excellence was Ms. Daniela Ilea (Romania). The recipients of the International Peace and Development Travel Scholarships were Mr. Joseph Kelly (USA), Ms. Lavern Marcia Maison (Surinam), and Mr. Matthew McGarry (USA).

The Rev. Terrence Currie, SJ awards Matthew, Lavern and Joseph their IPD Travel Scholarships. Matthew and Lavern will intern for six months with the Zimbabwe Office of Catholic Relief Services, while Joseph will intern with the Brazil Office of Catholic Relief Services.

Dr. Crystal inducts Lucia, Liliana, Kayci, Rossana, Paola, Marcella, Amy, Christina, Daniela, Joseph, Gintare, Catarina, Lia, Lavern, Matthew, Kirsten, Jason, Roudy, Matteo, Ernesto, and Jeffrey (some are not pictured) into the International Relations Honor Society. 

Dean Baumgarth awards Catarina, Daniela, Katrina, and Liliana (not pictured: Lucia, Anthony, James, Carmen, Christiaan, Walter, Elitza, Philip, Jason, and Edward) their Advanced Certificates in Emerging Markets and Country Risk Analysis.

Dr. Schwalbenberg awards an IPED Appreciation Gift to Mr. Franz Christian Sia for his outstanding service to the students of the IPED Program.

Dr. Reagle congratulates Paola and Dana for their High Passes on the Comprehensives.

Dr. Baumgarth congratulates Matthew for his Pass with Distinction in Economic AND Political Analysis on the Comprehensives.
