The event was held in the University Commons in Duane Library, and the recipient of the Matteo Ricci Award for Academic Excellence was Mr. Paul Wilkins (USA). The recipients of the International Peace and Development Travel Scholarships were Mr. Dean Johnson, Ms. Rachael Vinyard, and Ms. Sarah Weber. The Matteo Ricci Award

Awards

Dr. Reagle awards Sarah W. and Rachael (not pictured: Dean) their IPD Travel Scholarships. Dean, Rachael, and Sarah will intern for six months with Catholic Relief Services in Zimbabwe, Brazil, and Ghana respectively.

Dr. Crystal inducts Bibi, Alicia, Lesley, Andrea, Ross, Richard, Jane, Dean, Tatjana, Sarah L, Plamen, Claudia, Keesha, Ryu, Joshua, Rachael, Brendan, and Sarah W (some are not pictured) into the International Relations Honor Society. 

Dean Baumgarth awards Plamane and Alicia (not pictured: Odyek, Maitri, Kayci, Lesley, Ross, Richard, Qi, Wael, Tatjana, Keesha, Diego, Alfred, and Junjie their Advanced Certificates in Emerging Markets and Country Risk Analysis.

Dana awards an IPED Appreciation Award to Ms. Lydia Ocasio for her outstanding service to the students of the IPED Program.
