Summary

The Geste Francor is a fourteenth century compilation of tales relating to the lives of Charlemagne, Pepin, and Roland through seven individual texts: Bovo d'Antona, Berta da li pè grandi (or Berte a grand pie), Karleto (also known as Mainet or The Childhood of Charlemagne), Berta a Milon, Uggieri il Danese (also known as The Enfances Ogier or The Childhood of Ogier the Dane), Orlandino (also known as Rolandin or The Childhood of Roland), and Macario (also known as the Reine Sibille or Macaire the traitor).
