Yevgeniy Pomerantsev teaches Russian language as well as courses on Russian literature, drama, and film. His current research addresses the notion of poetic enchantment in German and Russian Romanticism. Other areas of interest include visual culture, gender studies, law and literature, Dostoevsky, fairy tales, and the fantastic tradition in modern Russian novel. He coordinates the Russian program at Fordham.
