Research
Interests
My research and scholarly interests focus on the intersection of cognition, instruction, and assessment. My work contributes to developments in educational psychology, psychometrics, and quantitative methods. Current projects include a review of statistical methods for detecting test bias, examining school effects on standardized test scores, a study of individual differences on performance on NAEP Mathematics and Science assessments, and the role of metacognition in student learning.
