Original works from psychoanalysis, ego psychology, behaviorism, humanistic thought, structuralism, experimental psychology and postmodernism are discussed from the perspective of their contribution to a public value orientation and the construction of an authentic cosmopolitan self. Student reflections on their own personal and public value orientations are central to this course and its discussions.
