UNDERGRADUATE SEQUENCE OF STUDY

The following is a sample course selection for a student beginning their Psychology major in their freshman year at Fordham College-RH . Which course is taken in each semester is not indicated, and except for Foreign Language 1 & 2, Biology 1 & 2, and Statistics and Methods, the sequencing is up to the student. As a general rule, for Psychology courses, take lowered numbered courses before taking higher numbered courses.

RSRU 1000 - Faith and Critical reason
PHRU 1000 - Philosophy of Human Nature
HSRU 1000 - The West from the Enlightenment to the Present
CSRU 1100 - Structures of Computer Science or MTRU 1203 – Finite Math
Foreign language 1
Foreign language 2
Fine Arts course
PSRU 1000 Introductory Psychology

Note: One of the above courses must be a Freshman Seminar (XXRF XXXX)

Note: During Freshman or Sophomore year take one course that fulfills an above requirement and is a Global studies course (XXRG XXXX) and one course that is an American Pluralism course (XXRP XXXX). If you can take an additional course (you transferred in a course) take a course from PSRU 2100-2998.
