Introduction

Welcome to the Fordham University Department of Psychology's history website. While psychology was introduced at Fordham University as early as 1862, the graduate Department of Psychology was founded in 1933. That makes 2008 the department's 75th anniversary. Today the department is responsible for the undergraduate psychology major in Fordham's three undergraduate colleges, as well as three graduate programs: Clinical Psychology, Applied Developmental Psychology, and Psychometrics.

At the link above you may view a timeline that lays out the history of psychology at Fordham University.

Events related to the 75th anniversary of the Psychology Department will be soon featured in this section.
