Students complete a total of
four core courses (12 credits) and
six specialization courses (18 credits), which includes a three-credit one-semester internship.
Pre/co-requisites: Students must have successfully completed courses (at undergraduate or graduate levels), or demonstrated other indicators of competency, in each of the following areas: psychology theory and research; research methods; statistical techniques; psychological testing.

Students, irrespective of master’s specialization, must complete four of the following courses:

Political Survey Research (Dr. Costas Panagopoulos)
Course covers the basics of survey research.
PSYC 7804 – Regression (Dr. Se-Kang Kim)
Course covers all types of regression analyses. Hands on experience and development of expertise in conducting regression analyses will be provided.

Ethics & Society
Cross-disciplinary Perspectives (offered by the Center for Ethics Education) -- Course provides an introduction to moral philosophy, moral theology, and professional ethics in the social and natural sciences. Class readings include writings relevant to social ethical issues from multiple perspectives, including anthropology, business, economics, philosophy, psychology, theology and religious studies, law, and sociology. Provides students with an introduction to the knowledge and critical thinking skills that will enable them to identify and understand the ethical decisions that affect the welfare of individuals and the integrity of their professions.
Students select from one of two specializations: (1)

Tests and Measurements. Each specialization has three required courses, two elective courses, and a one-semester three-credit internship
