Eva Sandis is Professor Emerita of Sociology and the former chair of the Division of Social Sciences at Fordham College at Lincoln Center. Professor Sandis enjoys a long time teaching career at Fordham University combined with professional activities abroad, including: Fulbright Professor, University of Vienna, Austria; and Visiting Scholar, National Center for Social Research, Athens, Greece. Professor Sandis is the former co-chair of the Columbia University Seminar on Cultural Pluralism and was an editorial board member of the International Migration Review. She is currently a NGO representative at the United Nations for the Center of Migration Studies and the International Council of Psychologists.
