2 Entry level assistant professor positions at Lincoln Center:

cultural Anthropologist with Middle East focus
sociologist with QUANTITATIVE SKILLS AND DIVERSITY/INEQUALITY focus

The Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Fordham University has been authorized to reopen searches for two entry level positions that were underway last fall but were suspended due to cautionary budget tightening on the part of the university in the wake of the national credit difficulties. The cultural anthropology position remains the same, but the sociology position has been shifted to a diifferent area though the need for quantitative skills continues. Those candidates from last year who wish to resubmit applications may request that their materials on file with us be reused; we would then require only a new cover letter, curriculum vitae, and any additional supporting documents from the intervening year. The job advertisements are posted below.

Allan S. Gilbert, Chair
Department of Sociology and Anthropology
Fordham University
441 East Fordham Road
Bronx, NY 10458.
